Industry 4.0 and industrial IoT infrastructure development

We develop electronics and software that establish machine-to-server data flow for customer production and automation projects. We turn Industry 4.0 into concrete functions based on measurable field needs and information the business will use.

Your project, your product

Developed confidentially and delivered with source files.

We may work with a confidentiality agreement (NDA) before sharing technical details. At the end of the project, we deliver the source codes, design files and technical documents we have developed to you.

  • NDA before sharing technical information
  • Clear deliverables agreed at the outset
  • Source and technical files at the end of the project

VOMRO engineering approach

First, we identify the question that needs to be answered.

Production counts, operating states, stop reasons and process values may come from different sources. We define the decision to support rather than collect every signal. Clarifying data meanings, measurement frequencies and acceptance criteria allows the electronics and software scope to be established more accurately.

VOMRO develops the chain from sensor interface to firmware and management panel together. In new machine design, data interfaces can be planned from the beginning; Available connections and operating constraints in the current system are examined.

01

Converting field data into reliable records

Suitable interfaces are selected for digital inputs, analogue sensors and existing device protocols. Electrical levels, isolation and industrial noise are assessed. Event start, event end and invalid-data states are defined so records carry operational meaning as well as numbers.

  • Sensor and device interfaces
  • Event and status definitions
02

Communication and common data model

The choice of wired or wireless connection is based on distance, amount of data, and operating environment. If a gateway is required, the field protocol is converted to the server data model. The device ID, timestamp, and connection status are added to the recording. Local storage and retransmission rules are set for connection interruptions.

  • Gateway and protocol integration
  • Timestamp and data integrity
03

Monitoring interface and operational use

Dashboards, reports and alarms are developed around users' responsibilities. We define how thresholds are changed and which conditions are reported to whom. Expected benefits can be assessed against baseline data; an efficiency improvement is not inferred merely from establishing a connection. System interfaces, data definitions and version information are organised for delivery.

  • Screens appropriate to role and need
  • Alarm and reporting flows

How it works

A clear process from start to delivery.

Not every project looks the same; however, the measurable requirement, controlled revision, and field verification steps remain unchanged.

  1. 01

    We define the question

We determine the business's needs, data meaning and acceptance criteria.

  2. 02

    We build the chain

We match the field interface, firmware and server connection.

  3. 03

    We evaluate through a pilot

We examine data accuracy, behaviour during outages and the user interfaces together.

  4. 04

We hand over the source files

We organize the code, design and technical records at the end of the project.

Frequently asked questions

Before starting the project

The technical scope, deliverables and test plan are clarified together according to the requirements of your project.

Does the existing PLC have to be replaced?

No. Existing interfaces and access possibilities are examined. Data collection can be developed as a separate scope from control functions.

Can data be transferred to other business software?

Integration can be defined after reviewing the other system's interfaces and data semantics. Permissions and responsibilities are established at the outset.

How are project information and deliverables protected?

We can work under an NDA. We deliver the project's source code, design and technical files; we clarify the deliverables and formats at the outset.

Do you deliver source codes and technical files at the end of the project?

Yes. We deliver the source codes, design files and technical documents we developed within the scope of the project to you at the end of the project. The delivery list and file formats are clarified at the beginning.
